Since July, Saturday nights in the CAL Ranch parking lot at 529 W. 32nd Street have filled with food trucks, vendors and artisans from 7 to 11 p.m. That's the Yuma Farmers Market's summer Night Market. KYMA reported in June that it would run every Saturday starting July 11 and continue "until the end of October." The last Saturday of the month falls on October 31, two days after this post goes up.
After that, Yuma's markets move to the daytime and change locations. A swap meet on Avenue 4E reopens Friday. The farmers market is listed to come back on a weekend morning at Yuma Palms a week later. A church market adds its own season late in November. The date farm stores in the valley keep selling on weekdays the whole time. Taken together, winter shopping in Yuma runs on a different weekly schedule than summer did, and it starts now.
Saturday, Oct. 31: the last night on 32nd Street
KYMA's report says the night run lasts through October, so this Halloween Saturday is the final date on the calendar. If you're planning a last visit, the organizers' number in that report is 928-390-4819. Calling first will confirm the closing night before you head to the CAL Ranch lot.
Friday, Oct. 30: Arizona Marketplace opens a day earlier
The night market's last Saturday comes one day after another market's first. The Arizona Marketplace at 3351 S. Avenue 4E has a banner on its site saying it is "closed until October 30th 2026." It runs from November through April. The market says it is the second-largest outdoor swap meet in Arizona and the largest in Yuma County. It opened in 2001 and calls itself Yuma's only outdoor covered market.
Visit Yuma describes a market of more than 150 vendors, with leatherwork, produce, candy and kettle corn among the stalls. The Marketplace's own entertainment page lists local live bands and special events as part of a visit.
The schedule posted on the site still belongs to last season, which ran November 6, 2025, to April 12, 2026. Before you plan a weekday trip, call the front office at 928-328-1088 for this season's shopping days and hours.
Nov. 7: the farmers market moves to Yuma Palms and adds Sunday
This is the biggest change for anyone who shops for produce on weekends. The Yuma Farmers Market's winter season is at Yuma Palms Mall, 1305 Yuma Palms Parkway, from November through April. The market's website lists these hours:
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Monday through Friday: closed
Compare that with the summer market. The Night Market ran one four-hour window, on Saturday night. The winter market runs two daytime windows over the weekend, about nine and a half hours combined. Its listing on LocalStalls gives "Sat 7 Nov" as the next market date and shows Saturdays continuing through November into December 5. That puts the first winter weekend at November 7 and 8, but the listing doesn't print a year, so check the market's mailing list or call 425-941-5030 before you go.
For the same organizers, the move means a new address and a schedule that starts in the morning.

Weekdays still belong to the date farms
Through all these weekend changes, the valley's date farm shops are a weekday stop. If your weekend now includes a morning at Yuma Palms, plan the date shake for a Tuesday.
Martha's Gardens Date Farm, at 9747 S. Avenue 9 3/4 E, posts summer hours of Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for May through November. The farm invites visitors for its date shake and a farm tour and asks guests to call ahead for booking and tour details at 928-726-8833. The site doesn't list a separate winter schedule yet. Visit Yuma's listing shows different hours, so call before you drive out if it's late November or later.
Imperial Date Gardens, at 2995 S. Pacific Avenue, keeps a shorter weekday window. Its shop is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and closed Saturday and Sunday. The farm's homepage is advertising its fresh crop.
The fruit has been around longer than usual this year. In May, a Yuma date farmer told KOLD that this year's harvest was starting early, with pollination about a month ahead of normal. The same report says the harvest usually begins in August or September.
Late November: free admission at Desert Grace
The last market of the fall season hasn't set its date yet. Desert Grace Vendor's Village and Farmer's Market says it "will be back in late November" and asks shoppers to check back for official dates. According to the market's page, admission is free. Shoppers can expect craft items, commercial goods and jewelry, a produce booth, and usually one food vendor each week.
Desert Grace also has a weather rule. The market doesn't open when it rains, and it uses its Facebook page to post whether it's open. Yuma had a wet fall last year. AZFamily reported in February that the prior fall brought nearly three times the normal rainfall. A quick check of the Facebook page on cloudy mornings could save you a trip.
Once Desert Grace returns, all three seasonal markets will be open for the winter, and the date farm counters will still be keeping weekday hours.
A November week, put together
Here's how the dates above fit into one week once all the markets are open:
- Monday through Friday: Martha's Gardens until 4 p.m. or Imperial Date Gardens until 3:30 p.m. for dates and shakes. Call Martha's ahead for a tour.
- Saturday morning: Yuma Farmers Market at Yuma Palms, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday morning: the farmers market again, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., if Saturday didn't work out.
- Any open day at the swap meet: Arizona Marketplace on Avenue 4E, once the front office confirms this season's hours.
- Late November onward: Desert Grace Vendor's Village. Check Facebook first if rain is in the forecast.
On December 5, the City of Yuma's Downtown Christmas brings food vendors to Main Street from 1 to 9 p.m.
